Christmas is approaching and in only 12 days we will celebrate Christmas Eve in Paris and in the rest of the world. This also means that we will celebrate New Years Eve in 19 days from now. But, if you come to Paris to celebrate either Christmas or New Years Eve… what should you do? Are there any special programs in town which you should not miss out on?
Christmas in Paris
In the period before Christmas and also after Christmas you should not miss the Champs-Elysees for the world, in the evening. The avenue is beautifully illuminated and with a giant Ferris Wheel located in the street you will find the city more romantic and beautiful than ever. As you walk in the Champs-Elysees you should of course visit the Christmas market located just near the avenue as well. If you want to visit other Christmas markets in Paris in addition to the one in the Champs-Elysees area we warmly recommend the one in front of the Eiffel tower!
If you want to enjoy all the Christmas lights in Paris yourself, why not join in on a bus tour showing you the beauties of Paris before Christmas in the dark. Read more and book such a tour here.
